While the King of Pop’s main focus is on his next album, currently being produced in Gambling Las Vegas with Rodney Jerkins, will.i.am and Neffu (some tracks apparently feature him rapping) for what would be his first CD since 2001's 'Invincible'. In addition, MJ is considering but has not committed yet to a semi-permanent show in Las Vegas. He has reportedly bought a house in Las Vegas, and met with various hotel owners about a residency show at a club or hotel similar to that performed Elton John, Celine Dion, or Prince. He attended a show by each of these 3 performers early March, as reported earlier.MJ's PA, Raymone Bain said: "He hasn't made up his mind about whether a Vegas show is on the cards for him. He's been in the studio since November working on his music. He's been presented with various proposals. A Vegas show isn't a priority."

We are so ready for a new album. With or without Vegas. It reminds me of the story of Thriler, when he kept working on the album for over a year and was still making changes at the last minute. Let's hope it measures-up to expectations...

I am so ready for this album to come out, yet so scared that it might not live-up to expectations. Don't get me wrong, MJ is a musical god, but can he sell 5M CD's and call it a success? it seems like he can't win. Do you know if there's such a thing as a potential release date?
